A North Clare festival which shines a light on local food producers will be celebrating a significant milestone this weekend.
The Burren Slow Food Festival takes place across this coming Saturday and Sunday, with this year’s programme of events marking its 20th anniversary.

The weekend was established to allow visitors to sample local artisan foods, meet producers and growers, and enjoy local cuisine in the pleasant surrounds of the Burren.
Bronagh O’Rourke of Burren Premium Beef has told Clare FM’s Morning Focus it’s grown “immeasurably” over the past two decades.
