The Finance Minister is to correct the record of the Dáil – after it emerged his Department DID have records of the meeting where IBRC approved the sale of SiteServ.

Michael Noonan had previously told TDs that IBRC never sent him a copy of the minutes from its meeting where the deal was agreed.
But last night he confirmed his Department HAD now discovered a copy of the board minutes which explained the reasoning for the sale.
Minister Noonan says he regrets the mistake – but says it has nothing to do with the decision to set up a full Commission of Investigation into IBRC.
