Members of the community in Kilrush are being invited to submit nominations for the Cissie Roughan Award.

The civic award honours individuals and voluntary organisations which have contributed significantly to the town.
It was set up in 1993 by Kilrush Town Council to give public recognition to Coucillor Cissie Roughan’s work as a member of the Local Authority in the eighties.
It encourages participation and achievement in areas including the the arts, social, business, education, sporting and general life within the town.
