There’ll be no white Christmas in Clare this year, but skies are expected to remain clear for Santa’s visit.
According to Met Éireann temperatures will be dropping to as low as -1 in this county between now and new years day.

The combination of clear skies and light winds is expected to lead to a widespread covering of frost on the roads, but for the most part Clare will only see light rain and drizzle.
Forecaster and Tullycrine native Michelle Dillon says there will be some hazardous conditions into late next week.
