Today the Health Protection Surveillance Centre has been notified of 40 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ireland, bringing the total number to 25,929.
There have been no new cases recorded in Clare today, leaving the total number at 372.
While there have been no COVID-19 related deaths reported today, the number of cases reported is the highest daily confirmed figure in just over two weeks.
