Garda sources say there’s no indication that Donald Trump will visit Clare in the next two weeks.
There has been speculation that the US President will arrive at his golf resorts in Doonbeg and Aberdeen in Scotland when he comes to Europe.
He is due in Germany this weekend for the G7 summit and will be back a week later to mark Bastille Day in Paris.

However, the government has not commented on the rumours – and a Garda spokesperson has told Clare FM they’ve received no confirmation that a visit is due to take place.
