The Environmental Protection Agency says it doesn't have any immediate concerns about Clare's drinking water after it removed a number of public water supplies in the county from its priority list.

The organisation's Remedial Action List directs Irish Water to carry out work on inadequate supplies across the country.

A number of locations in Clare have been identified as areas in need of improvement works in the past but all have now been removed.

Senior Inspector with the EPA Darragh Page says Clare's drinking water supply is now at an acceptable standard.
