The new CEO of the HSE says other measures aimed at alleviating overcrowding can be taken before considering a model three hospital for the Midwest region.
Bernard Gloster has appeared before the Oireachtas Health Committee, where he’s outlined his priorities during his tenure, including access and performance, timely implementation and public confidence.
The former Chief Officer for Community Healthcare in the MidWest is also instigating a management processes change from April 1st, which he says will benefit the totality of the health system, as well as the health service in the Midwest.
