The level of local property tax in Clare will not be cut in 2017.

Councillors voted at this afternoons meeting not to reduce the charge, which had been cut by 15% in the previous two years.
The motion not to cut the tax was introdued by Fianna Fail councillor Tom McNamara and was passed by 21 votes to 4
