No Clare Communities Sought Funding For Crime Fighting Initiative

It’s understood that no Clare communities have sought government funding for a crime-fighting initiative.

The CEO of Muintir na Tíre has said that no Clare community have sought funding for CCTV to crack down on crime in rural areas.

The Department of Justice is making a million euro per year available for the next three years, for rural community groups to apple to install the cameras.
