The HSE has confirmed that no calls have been made to members of the public, by any member of its vaccination team.
It follows concerns raised by an elderly Shannon resident who received a phone call from someone purporting to be from the vaccination programme, who questioned the lady on her living arrangements.
The HSE is reminding people to remain alert to potential frauds associated with Covid19 and report any suspicious communications to the Gardaí.
