No Application Submitted To Govt For Ennis Relief Road Funding In Last Decade

The Department of Transport claims it has received no application for funding to complete the Ennis Northern Inner Relief Road in the last decade.

IT comes as Clare’s Oireachtas members are set to be invited to a special meeting of the local authority, to highlight municipal infrastructure projects in need of capital funding.

Clare County Council estimates that another €10.2m is required to finish the route that would ultimately connect the Gort Road to the Tulla Road via the Clare Technology Park.
