Nine same sex marriages were conducted in Clare last year.
Four male couples and five female couples tied the knot here in the first full year in which same sex marraige was available in Ireland.
The total number of marriages here also increased last year, according to the CSO, who say another 617 couples also got married in the Banner County in 2017.
