The continued operations of a service which provides supports to Clare cancer survivors is said to be dependent on fundraising efforts.
Daffodil Day, which is the Irish Cancer Society’s annual fundraiser, takes place this year on March 28th.

Newmarket-on-Fergus native Mary Woods is a Daffodil Day community organiser and has survived both womb and bowel cancer.
She says as the service is only partly supported by the State, donations from the public are crucial.
