Newmarket-On-Fergus GP To Return In Two Weeks

GP services in Newmarket on Fergus are to return in just over two week’s time.

The HSE has confirmed that from Monday, June 22nd Dr Colum Gavin of the Saffron and Blue Medical Centre will operate from the Health and Wellness Centre at Carrigoran House.

The village has been without a GP since Dr Colm Hackett retired in May of last year, with patients travelling to Shannon Medical Centre for health services in the meantime.
