Kuwait Airways has begun its new new transit service at Shannon airport.

The first aircraft, which touched down while en route from Kuwait to New York/JFK Airport, landed at Shannon yesterday and will now operate three times a week, on Fridays, Sundays and Wednesdays.
It's the first time Kuwait Airways will use an Irish airport in this way.
It will also boost passenger numbers through Shannon.
