New Tourism Strategy Launched For Clare

A new tourism strategy for Clare will aim to market attractions and amenities throughout the county, as part of efforts to help the industry recover from the pandemic.

Clare County Council has today unveiled its ambitious plan, supported by Fáílte Ireland, for the development of the sector up to 2030.

The plan sets out 29 priorities including the development of Ennis as a gaeway to the county, securing new routes for Shannon airport, developing The West Clare Rail Greenway and promoting Lower Lough Derg.

Incoming Chair of the Clare Tourism Advisory Forum Sean Lally hopes the plan will build on existing achievements.
