A new system for allocating special needs resources to schools will improve the quality of support for children, according to the Education Minister.

Each school will be examined to establish what level of support is needed.

That means children won't have to assessed individually to establish the level of SNAs a school requires.

Minister Richard Bruton says the new system is more efficient.
