Miltown Malbay is celebrating an employment boost today with the opening of a brand new supermarket.

Jones’s Supervalu on the Ennis Road in Miltown Malbay formally opens it’s doors to the public, and will employ 50 people in it’s purpose built premises, which together with local community facilities represents a 5.5 million euro investment in the local economy.
Supervalu Sales Director Michael Morgan has wished owner John Jones and his family well in the new venture, and says that supporting the local community is very much part of their future business plans.
