A new Superintendent has been appointed to the Kilrush Garda District.

A new Superintendent has been appointed to the Kilrush Garda District.
John Galvin has been promoted to the role, and will be stationed in the town where he has previously worked as a Sergeant.
Most recently, he has been working as a Detective Inspector within the Clare Garda Division.
He replaces Martin McGonnell, who has been transferred to Blackrock in Dublin after nearly two years in West Clare.
