Around 75 new companies started up in Clare last month, as the economy shows further signs of recovery.
Nationally, new figures from Vision-Net show over 1500 new firms set up in July with around 2% of these being in the Banner County.

By contrast, only 166 firms went bust in Ireland last month – the company says two of these were based in Clare.
The number of new firms created last month was the highest since the beginning of the recession.
