A 30km speed restriction will be introduced in housing estates across Clare in the coming months.

The pilot programme which is concentrated on housing estates in Shannon will also extend to a number of other areas including Ardnacrusha, Westbury, Quin and Clarecastle.
If successful, will be rolled out to the rest of the county next year.
The initiative is in line with Jake's Legacy, a national campaign aiming to reduce the speed limit in housing estates.
