The new Chair of Shannon Group says he’s aiming to restore traffic at Shannon Airport to pre-pandemic levels within three years.
Pádraig Ó Céidigh is expected to be formally confirmed Chairperson of the Group following his appearance before the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Transport and Communications.

The founder of Aer Arann Express and Aer Lingus Regional, who previously served as a Senator, fills a role that had been left vacant for over a year.
Mr Ó Céidigh will remain Chairperson until 2024, and he says bringing back 2019 activity levels to Shannon Airport will be top of his priority list.
