Shannon Airport has announced a new Ryanair route to Gran Canaria will begin operation from next month.
It’s the third recent service announcement by Shannon, following confirmations of routes to Corfu and Turin in the last number of months.
In a statement, Shannon Group CEO Mary Considine says the move will lead to a ‘busier’ airport and illustrates Ryanair’s commitment to the Midwest.

The route begins operation on August 7th, and will fly once a week until the end of October.
