Aer Lingus Regional is to restore flights from March, generating an extra 35,000 seats for the Mid-West Airport.
The new service, which will be operated by Stobart Air, will see six flights weekly, operating year-round from March 28th between Shannon and the Scottish capital.
Fine Gael Deupty Pat Breen says there has been a strong demand for the service.
