A new Ryanair service from Shannon Airport to Malta is set to begin in March.
Shannon Group has announced the new route this afternoon, which brings to 20 the number of Ryanair services available from the Midwest next summer.
The service will operate twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays.

The first Shannon to Malta flight will leave the Midwest on 27th March 2022, with the route running until the 27th of October.
Shannon Group CEO Mary Considine has welcomed the move, saying the Mediterranean island will be a popular destination ‘for sun seekers and those who want to experience its culture’.
