The median price of a home in Clare increased by €46,000 in the last year.
Myhome.ie’s final quarterly report for 2024 shows property prices in this county are rising at the fourth fastest rate in the country.
For a property in the middle of the range between the least and most expensive homes in this county, the average asking price is now €285,000.
Although this is unchanged from the sum recorded in the July to September period, it marks a 19% increase in the last year.
While, asking prices for a 3-bed semi-detached house in Clare rose by €10,000 over the quarter to €270,000.
This means that prices in the segment have risen by €35,050 compared to this time last year and at the fourth fastest rate nationwide, only surpassed by Kildare, Westmeath and Offaly.
The asking price for a 4-bed semi-detached house in Clare was steady over the quarter at €295,000, up €30,000 compared to this time last year.
Additionally, there were 256 properties for sale in Clare at the end of 2024, a drop of 11% in just the space of three months.
The average time for a property to go sale agreed in Clare after being placed up for sale now stands at just over five and a half months.
