Shannon Airport was Ireland’s fastest growing Airport in June.
The Irish Tourism Industry Confederation’s monthly Tourism Industry Dashboard report found passenger numbers increased by 14% at the Clare base in comparison to June 2025.

By comparison, passenger numbers at Dublin Airport increased by 2% in June, while Cork Airport saw a 3% reduction in traffic in the same month.
Chair of the Shannon Airport Oireachtas Group, Cathal Crowe, says the figures are far better than anyone expected earlier this year.
