There’s been a broad welcome in Clare’s tourism hotspots to news that the roadmap for reopening Ireland will be accelerated.
Yesterday, the Taoiseach Leo Varadkar announced that the five-phase plan will change to four phases with restrictions easing from Monday.

Travel limits will extend to anywhere in your county, groups of six can meet up indoors or outdoors with social distancing, and bars, hotels and restaurants will be allowed open from June 29th, with some restrictions.
Fianna Fáil councillor Cillian Murphy says the revised guidelines could be a saving grace for the tourism industry in Clare.
