The students of Barefield National School are set to increase their activity levels as new outdoor facilities have been given the green light.
The school’s board of management has been successful in it’s application to Clare County Council for a ball wall and playground to be built on the site.

The ball wall will be specifically designed to allow pupils to practice their hurling and camogie skills.
The new amenities will take up nearly 8% of the two hectare site.
