New Passengers From Canada Will Fill Void Of British Tourists Says Tourism Ireland

The head of Tourism Ireland believes direct flights between Shannon and Canada will fill the void left by falling numbers of British tourists.

The route will operate between the Mid West airport and Toronto four times a week from June to October of next year.

It’s one of two new routes announced by the airport – a twice weekly service between Shannon and Barcelona will take off in March, also until October.
