A new medical centre in North Clare is expected to provide continuity of care to locals for decades to come.
MMD Atlantic Limited, which is an amalgamation of three GP practices, has been given the green light to convert Grovemount House on the Lahinch Road in Ennistymon to a medical centre.

As no major alterations to the building are required, the facility is tipped to be up-and-running in “a matter of months” and will have nine GPs working from it.
Lahinch GP Michael Kelleher, who’s one of partners of the project, says it’ll allow for a much greater range of services.
