New Medical Facility For UL

A new Graduate Entry Medical School has been officially opened at the University of Limerick today.

The €15 million facility, located beside the existing Medical School on UL's Clare campus, houses a range of teaching and lecture rooms, as well as laboratories and state of the art equipment.

UL President Don Barry says the facility will help provided committed, skilled doctors needed in Ireland and around the world.

The building was officially opened by Finance Minister Michael Noonan today, with a number of Clare officials in attendance.
