Garda recruitment is to resume in the next few weeks.

Justice minister Alan Shatter says advertisements for new recruits will be issued in early December.
The minister was speaking at an Oireachtas committee as he admitted the Gardai would need an extra 32 million euro in funding this year.
But he says the government has assigned enough money for next year to resume training in Templemore.
