Seven new vehicles have been delivered to the Clare Garda Division so far this year.

The Garda fleet here has been the focus of attention in recent years, particularly following the closure of a number of rural stations, and the hopes that this would free up more officers to go on patrol.
The figure has been welcomed by Shannon Fine Gael Senator Tony Mulcahy, who admits the Gardaí need continuous investment.
