A newly-formed Community First Responder Group in Ennis is hoping to assistant the ambulance service in improving medical outcomes.
Emergency medical response charity CRITICAL has established a new Community First Responder Group which will attend calls within a 10 kilometre radius of Ennis.

Having commenced training in January, the team of nine volunteers has now completed the process and will begin its work in the coming weeks.
Killaloe-based Chief Executive of CRITICAL David Tighe says expect to have a positive impact on the area.
