A new filling station on the outskirts of Ennis has been given the green light.
Up to 100 jobs are expected to be created at the development at Junction 12 of the M18 motorway which would include a full-scale visitor centre, similar to the Barack Obama Plaza in Moneygall.

Planning permission for the service station has been granted by Clare County Council subject to 24 conditions.
Facilites will include a shop, food court, offices, staff facilities, parking and a children's play area.
