The new covered market in Ennis will be officially opened next week.

Last evening's meeting of Ennis area Councillors heard that works on the building has been substantially completed, with only minor works outstanding at this stage.
The local authority has also reported "significant interest" from traders to trade in the building, and an advisory committee has been set up to assist in its operation and promotion.
Councillors also decided on a title for the new facility, which will officially be called 'Ennis Market'
