Plans for a revamped Ennis market have taken another positive step forward.

Local representatives have viewed a 3D presentation on proposed plans for the Garraunakilla area of the town.
Umbrella sheltering for the outdoor space had been considered up to this point, but after consultation with architects and planners, Perspex covering along with retractable roofing is now the favoured option.
It’s hoped the new structure will give the town a new focal point and encourage shoppers to pay a visit to the market area of Ennis.
