New Dail Groups To Meet Today

The Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil parliamentary parties will hold separate meetings of their new Dail groups in Leinster House today.

It comes as efforts to form a new government get underway.

It's expected Fine Gael will also discuss concerns about their handling of the election campaign.

Meanwhile, Fianna Fáil members will discuss their options for approaching other groups to form a coalition of its own.

The issue of Irish Water and water charges is also likely to be discussed today.
