The new covered building for market traders in Ennis town centre officially opens today.

The ceremony, which takes place at 3 o'clock this afternoon, marks the completion of Phase One of the redevelopment of the market at Garraunakilla, the site of the Farmer's Market.
Trading will take place on Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays with up to 21 traders providing a wide range of high quality goods, while on non-trading days, the facility is available for parking.
Mayor of Ennis, Ann Norton says feedback has already been very positive.
