One of the most advanced operating theatres in Western Europe has been unveiled in the Mid West.

The hi-tech minimally invasive colorectal theatre at Limerick Regional Hospital opened at a cost of over half a million euro and will allow bowl cancer patients to receive world class key hole surgery at Dooradoyle.
The funding was provided by the Mid Western Hospital’s Development Trust
