The new CEO of Clare County Council has confirmed that he is set to take up his position in September.

Pat Dowling is to make a move across the border from Limerick, where he's served with the local authority there for 17 years, most recently as Deputy Chief Execitive.
He'll replace Tom Coughlan, who stepped down as CEO in April, after 21 years wih Clare County Council.
