Shannon Airport has welcomed a cargo flight operated by Turkish Airlines today.
In a series of posts on Twitter, the Airport says the flight is the first of many, in a new link-up with the major carrier.

The aircraft is transiting through Shannon from Istanbul to cargo, and local representatives have exoressed hopes that the service could eventually open up a new avenue for goods to travel from Ireland to the US.
