The number of new cars registered in April is down 13.6 per cent.

Figures released by the CSO today show that over 8-thousand new private cars were licensed in April 2013, compared with 9,388 in April 2012.
While the registration of used (imported) private cars has jumped by almost 40 per cent – 4,398 were licensed last month compared with 3,193 during April 2012 .
