New car registrations in Clare in the first two months fo the year are up by almost 10% on the same period in 2022.
New figures released by the Society of the Irish Motor Industry show that a total of 896 vehicles were registered so far this year compared to the 816 that were documented last year.

While petrol engines remain the most popular in Clare, the sale of electric cars has soared by almost 123%.
SIMI Director General, Brian Cooke, says electric vehicles continue to outperform the market.
