An Irish environmental group has launched a new campaign opposing the construction of a 10 million euro sea barrier in Doonbeg.

An Bord Pleanala is to consider an application by Donald Trump's five-star DOonbeg resort to build the 2.8km wall of rock armor, in an effort to protect the coastline close to his resort.
Trump International Hotel and Golf Links say the project is vital to protecting the multi-million euro property, but Friends of the Irish Environment claim it will cause more harm than good to the coastline.
