North Clare is set for a new bus service after the National Transport Authority approved funding for an improved route between Ballyvaughan and Ennis.
It’s understood the new service will go through Lisdoonvarna, Ennistymon and Inagh before arriving at the county town.

Work is believed to be underway to roll out the new service as quickly as possible in the Department of Transport, though no definite timeframe has yet been established.
Inagh-based Green Party Senator Roisin Garvey, who’s revealed the news, says it’s a hugely positive development for the North of the county.
