A new state-of-the-art sports facility is expected to be completed this October.
Construction began last October on the Ballycuggaran Water Sports Facility which will include standard toilet cubicles, ambulant toilet cubicles, five showers and changing rooms, a changing places washroom and a wheelchair accessible washroom.

The project is funded through a €1.25 million Fáilte Ireland grant, with Clare County Council making up the remaining €250,000 of the cost.
Executive Chartered Building Surveyor at Clare County Council’s General Design Office, Aldo Andreucetti, says swift progress is being made.
