A new app has been launched to book visitor appointments at the region’s six hospital sites.
The Visitor Booking App is initially is now in operation for Ennis, Nenagh, St John’s and Croom Orthopaedic Hospitals, ahead of a full roll-out to include University Hospital Limerick and University Maternity Hospital Limerick.
Inpatients or women accessing maternity services will be asked to nominate their visitors and the nominated persons will then be able to book their visit on the app.

Vistors will be required to enter the full name and date of birth of the inpatient, their own name and contact details and fill out a brief Covid-19 questionnaire before being able to book.
